Enclosure in Meelick (boyounagh Ed)

On a rise in grassland overlooking bogland to W. Known locally as 'Dooneen', it is marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1930) as a small roughly circular enclosure (D c. 25m) defined by hachures from N to E and by a slight curve in the adjacent field boundary from E to S.
