What is recorded here

This poorly preserved stone enclosure, not marked on the OS maps, is located on the N facing slope of the ridge that divides Cloonaghlin and Iskanamacteery Loughs. The enclosing bank is composed of stone and earth, and averages .5m high and 1m wide. It encloses an area 13m N-S x 11m E-W, within which is a poorly preserved circular hut (KE090-015001-) measuring 3m N-S x 2.2m E-W internally. Its stone-built wall survives to a height of .8m and is 1.2m wide. Collapse obscures the location of the entrance in both the hut and the site's enclosing bank.
