What is recorded here
In improved, gently rolling pasture, on high ground. A sub-rectangular area (dims. max. 54m N-S; 61m E-W) which abutts another enclosure (TS059-152----) to the S. It is defined by scarp (Wth 3.2-3.5m; H 0.4-0.5m) to the W (L c. 22m), N (L c. 60m) and at the N end of the E side (L 54m), while a bank (L 24m) defines the S end of the E side. The interior is generally level, with an uneven surface and has a break of slope on the W side. A concrete slab denotes an OS spot height of 390ft on the E scarp. Other linear rises and depressions were noted c. 10-22m to the N and are possibly associated with drainage for the pond c. 70m to the NW.
