What is recorded here

Knockbarry holds an oval enclosure eighty metres long beside a levelled ringfort, large enough for a small village or a serious ritual. The ditch has vanished under soil and grass, but the shape remains clear in aerial photography. That much is known. What is missing is the life that filled the space, the reason the boundary was cut so deliberately, and the name the people gave the place before it became a number in an inventory.
