In improved pasture, on a general NW-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 19.5m N-S; 16m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 1.2m; H 0.08m) which is best defined NNW-SE. Remains of levelled bank (Wth 5.3m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m) NW-NNW and SE-SW. Remains of fosse (Wth 3.95-4.05m; D 0.05m) N-NE and SE-SW. Drain (long axis NNW-SSE) is c. 2m to W of monument. Identified as a sub-circular enclosure on an aerial photograph (Bruff Aerial Survey 53).
