What is recorded here

Marked as an oval enclosure (max. dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 27m E-W) only on the 1925 ed. of the OS 6-inch map with a pond or quarry c. 20m to the N. It is situated on a level landscape. An enclosure is traceable in pasture as a band (Wth c. 2m) of lighter growth (ext. dims 26m NNE-SSW; 19m WNW-ESE). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
