What is recorded here
In pasture. Indicated as a roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 43m) on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map with a townland boundary curving along the perimeter in the S sector and a field boundary running along the SE perimeter before running eastward from the ESE. A quarry, roughly the same size as the enclosure, is indicated c. 20m to the NE. On the 1899-1902 revision the monument is not indicated, suggesting it may have been levelled by this date. The curving townland boundary and field boundary remain.
