What is recorded here

In improved, gently undulating pasture, on a low rise. Circular area (diam. 31m) defined by remains of a levelled bank (overall Wth 5.65m; Wth at top 2.75m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.9m) and outer fosse (Wth 5.95m; D 0.6m). The bank is reduced to scarp (Wth 1.8m; H 1.25mm) WNW-NW and at SW and there is some slippage of the outer scarp at WNW-NW, S and SW. The fosse is well preserved from SE-N and is backfilled along the field boundary from N-SE. The interior is generally level and appears featureless. An enclosure (TS059-014002-) lies c. 7m to the E.
