In improved pasture, on a NNE-facing slope. Grantstown Castle (TS059-089001-) is c. 60m to SE. Identified as a roughly circular cropmark (diam. c. 22m) on an aerial photography (GSI R. 435/4, 16.4.1974). It is not visible at ground level.
