Enclosure in Grangegeeth — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Located at the W end of a short E-W ridge (L c. 200m). A large embanked subcircular enclosure (ext. dims c. 70m N-S; c. 60m E-W) is depicted on the 1836 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is annotated as a ‘Fort’, but only a slight curve in a field bank at N is represented on the 1908 edition. A chord (L 35m) of the bank survives incorporated into a field bank (Wth of base 3m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.5m) at N but this would have been a substantial rath. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
