Enclosure in Grange (templeachally Par.)

Situated on a steep NW-facing slope of rising ground overlooking Lough Derg. A sunken circular area (diam. 16m N-S) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 2m max.; ext. H 0.3m) mainly reduced to a scarp with no entrance feature visible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
