Situated on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 35m NNE-SSW; c. 20m ENE-WSW) defined by a fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (3) 16, 17). It is also visible on digital aerial photographs (WX052-043_1 to _3) taken in July 2006 and in grass on the OSI series of aerial photographs (2000).
