In undulating countryside. Indicated as an irregular enclosure (max. diam. c. 60m NW-SE) on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Remains of an earthen bank (Wth c. 1.4m; int. H c. 0.3m, ext. H c. 0.5m) at E and S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
