Situated on rock outcrop in an area of scrub woodland. Not depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. The wall-footings of a possible cashel are visible in an area of rock outcrop covered in scrub. Impossible to examine the site due to the dense cover of vegetation. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
