Enclosure in Glenpatrick

Enclosure

What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. A mace-head, a highly polished ceremonial Neolithic artefact almost invariably associated with ritual monuments, was found here (NMI file). According to O'Floinn (pers. comm.) a circular ditched area 50ft [15.2m] in diameter was visible when the field was ploughed in 1986. This monument is not visible at ground level.
