Geophysical survey (licence no. 050R137) identified a series of anomalies (Nicholls and Shiel 2005). Test excavation (licence no. 07E0057) confirmed the presence of a series of ditches (average 0.30m deep) that form a sub-square enclosure (Elliot 2007, 288).
