In floodplain, on S side of inner Dunmanus Harbour. Circular area (17m N-S; 16m E-W) enclosed by eroded earthen bank (H 0.4m). Interior level with signs of flooding. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
