What is recorded here
Drumharkan hides an unlocated fort that Cromwell is said to have struck during the Fenagh raids. The enclosure vanished before modern eyes could measure it, leaving only a warning that power can erase entire places.
There is a reference to a fort at Drumharkan (Blaney 1944), from which Cromwell is said to have razed part of the buildings in Fenagh. It remains unlocated.
