What is recorded here

In low-lying and gently undulating pasture, 80m W of the Groody River. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a large suboval-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 275: AP 4/3712). Monument is visible as a large sub-oval-shaped cropmark (55m ENE-WSW; 38m NNW-SSE) defined by a thin band of dark green rushes from ENE-S-WSW on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and on Digital Globe aerial orthophoto taken 2011-2013. Area to N and E of monument has been planted with forestry as seen on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
