Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with enclosure site (TN020-041) and ringfort (TN020-042) to the S. Not indicated on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map but hachured on the 1904 ed. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
