Enclosure in Cummeen is an enclosure in Cummeen, County Sligo, Ireland. The circular area spans 32 metres across and contains a central cairn within its flat interior. A continuous low bank surrounds the space without breaks or a fosse, though overgrowth now engulfs the entire structure.
Within an embanked enclosure (SL014-047001-). A circular area (diam. 32m) is defined by a low bank (Wth 4.8m, at top 3m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.24m). There are no breaks in the bank and there is no fosse. In the centre of the flat interior is a cairn (SL014-047003-). The enclosure is engulfed in overgrowth. Compiled by: Patrick F.
