In rough pasture, on a steep E-facing slope at the base of a scarp. An oval area (23m N-S; 17m E-W) enclosed by a ruinous grass-covered stone wall, highest along the N arc (Wth 3.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.2m). The interior is uneven and filled with stones. Bushes grow on the perimeter and in the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
