What is recorded here
On poorly drained grassland in upland region with good views SW, higher ground to NE. Barely visible outline of a much degraded semi-circular enclosure (int. dims. 31m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by a low rise of ground (Wth 2m; H 0.2m) which is transected at NW by a small stream giving it a semi-circular shape as indicated on the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map. No other features visible, not indicated on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. Interior of enclosure is very wet at time of inspection and land around monument is wet unimproved grassland.
