What is recorded here
Situated at the base of a gentle N-facing slope with a marshy river valley immediately to the N. Depicted as an oval-shaped enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map but not shown on the 1952-3 ed. Not visible at ground level. The field boundary (Wth 1.2m; H 0.67m) to the W curves out to accommodate the former site.
