
What is recorded here
In rolling reclaimed grassland on the lower slopes of the hills to E of the Goul river valley. Enclosure (dims. c. 47m N-S; c. 45m E-W) depicted on 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map. There is no visible trace at ground level.
This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
