What is recorded here
In tillage. A D-shaped enclosure (dims. c. 27m N-S; c. 33m E-W) identified as a cropmark by Faith Bailey and Simon Dowling on satellite imagery (Google Earth Pro, imagery date 14 July 2018). The straight side runs E-W to S (L 24m). There is a gap in the E quadrant (Wth c. 6m) which is probably the entrance. There are cropmarks of two field boundaries running N-S on either side of the enclosure, that c. 25m to the W is indicated on the 1st and 2nd eds of the OS 6-inch map but that c. 7m to the E appears to have been levelled before the 1st ed. map.
