What is recorded here

Cooldorragh holds a broken circular enclosure on a low ridge, its earth and stone bank still standing from west through north to east before surrendering to forgetting. The missing sector may have been a gate, a road cut, or simply the place where memory failed. Inside, the ground slopes northward like a breath drawn upward, inviting whoever enters to walk the ridge and wonder what the lost boundary guarded.

Located on a low ridge running E-W in undulating countryside. Roughly circular area (diam 39m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) which is only visible from W through N to E to S, destroyed elsewhere. Field fence intersects NE sector of site. No evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature. The interior of the site slopes from S to N following the natural slope of the ridge.
