Situated on a low rise of rock outcrop in slightly undulating countryside. A poorly preserved site comprising of a circular area (diam. 25m NW- SE) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank mainly reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) with a possible destroyed entrance gap at W. A silage pit is located immediately S of the site. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
