Enclosure in Clonmeen South is an unlocated earthen rath described by Carrigan in 1905 as lying between the abbey and the church, a common arrangement near early religious houses. It may have marked a boundary, a garden, or a forgotten dwelling, but its exact purpose has slipped from local memory. The mound still holds the shape of human intention, waiting for someone to walk its rim and ask what it kept.

Unlocated enclosure within townland that is described by Carrigan as 'Between the Abbey (LA033-009001-) and the church (LA033-010), there are earthen remains resembling a large rath, such as are often seen in the immediate vicinity of religious houses of early times' (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 345).
