Enclosure in Cloghala (gowran By., Bennettsbridge Ed)

In tillage. A roughly circular bivallate enclosure (int. diam. c. 37m; overall diam. c. 60m) identified as a cropmark on Google Earth Pro imagery (imagery date 14 July 2018) by Edward O'Riordan. There is a gap of c. 10m between the inner and outer fosse. A field boundary, indicated on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as part of a farm track, and still upstanding, runs roughly NE-SW along the N sector, kinking out to respect or incorporate the outer curve of the enclosure. An enclosure (KK024-048----), now levelled, is located c. 100m to the N.
