In a forestry plantation. On satellite imagery (OSi imagery date 2013 to 2018) the monument is overgrown with trees and scrub with a buffer zone (Wth c. 15m) separating it from the surrounding plantation. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a rectangular enclosure with rounded corners and on the 1948-9 revision as a subcircular enclosure (overall diam. c. 50m) defined by a wide bank (overall Wth c. 13m).   Compiled by: Jean Farrelly
