Enclosure in Cartron (carrowrevagh Ed )

On S-facing slope in pastureland and tillage. A large quadrangular enclosure (E-W 60m, N-S 39m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The enclosing elements are best preserved along W side and at NE. Traces of inner stone revetment survive on inner bank at E. Field walls overlie the outer bank along W side and at SE, another cuts S section of the monument. Causeway at S appears modern.
