What is recorded here

In pasture, on level ground at the top of a WNW-facing slope. The enclosure is levelled and the remains consist of a very slightly raised level D-shaped area (28.5m E-W; 27.5m N-S) defined by a curving undulation NE-NNW and bordered on the straight N side by a hedgerow. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
