What is recorded here
Visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AJN 88), and situated in a low-lying landscape between hills. Subrectangular, grass-covered sunken area (dims 49m NNE-SSW; 37.3m WNW-ESE) defined by a scarp down to the interior (H 0.7-0.9m) with a slight bank (Wth c. 3m; H 0.1-0.25m) on the perimeter. There is no visible entrance, and it may be a quarry (max. ext. dims 56.6m N-S; 44.3m E-W).
