Enclosure in Carrowbrickeen,fallathurteen is an enclosure in Carrowbrickeen,fallathurteen, County Sligo, Ireland. The circular raised area sits on high ground in undulating pasture with excellent views. A bank, poorly preserved external bank at east and north, and intervening fosse at north enclose the space, while the original entrance is no longer recognisable. A tower house and possible bawn occupy the interior.
On high ground in fairly good undulating pasture with excellent views. Circular raised area (int. dims. c. 31m N-S; c. 3.5m E-W; H 3.5-4m) enclosed by bank, a poorly preserved external bank at E and N and an intervening fosse which can be seen at N. Original entrance not recognisable. There is a tower house (SL013-029002-) and a possible bawn (SL013-029003) in the interior.
