What is recorded here

Situated on a slight rise of ground in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 30m NW-SE) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2m at NW) which is almost completely levelled from NE through S to SW. A modern road intersects the site at NW. No entrance feature visible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
