Situated on a N-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure with a field fence intersecting the site at NW. Not indicated on any subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
