Situated on a flat platform of ground on a NW-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A semicircular area (chord 27m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 1.7m) from W to N and intersected by a townland boundary at S and a field fence at W. A disused old stone-walled laneway (Wth 2m) leads onto the enclosure at E.
