Enclosure in Carrigillihy — Report the wrong picture

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope on W side of Glandore Harbour. Excavated by O'Kelly (1954, 69-86). He described an oval area (24.4m N-S; 21.3m E-W) enclosed by stone bank (max. H 1.2m; max. Wth 2.7m). W half of bank contains low upright slabs set radially at intervals of 0.6m-0.9m. Entrance to E. Excavation revealed oval house site (10m N-S; 6.7m E-W) with entrance also to E. O'Kelly suggests an Early Bronze Age date for the enclosure and house site. Foundations of square house (CO142-091002-) super imposed on the oval house were also discovered.
