Enclosure in Caherweesheen

'Located on a limestone reef in an area of grassland, which affords extensive panoramic views on all sides, the aspect to south and west being especially spectacular. This reef is now very overgrown with small bushes and scrub. At least three circular enclosures of earth and stone can be discerned as well as at least two mounds of stone, one large and one considerably smaller. A short linear bank of earth and stone also occurs on the reef......to the immediate west of this [Enclosure KE038-155----] is the largest enclosure of this group of three, measuring 14.0m in diameter, and enclosing a central area of approximately 9.00m in diameter. The substantial bank has an average width of 2.25m, is 0.40m above external ground level and 1.10m above the level of the centre of the enclosure. A possible, though much denuded entrance occurs at north and is c. 2.00m in width.'
