Enclosure in Beakstown

Situated immediately E of Beakstown House on land sloping down to the SE towards the River Suir, in gently undulating pastureland. A roughly circular area (diam. c. 40m NE-SW) which has probably been landscaped as part of a garden feature. It is defined by a scarp (H 1.1m) in the SW quadrant only. The NW sector is quite obscured by vegetation and has been disturbed by a roadway which skirts the edge of the site.
