What is recorded here

Situated on level ground beside a stream. Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a small enclosure (max. diam. c. 30m), surrounded by a possible outer enclosing element (max. diam. c. 90m), and marked 'Site of Raheen'. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
