Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill in rough pastureland. Not indicated on the 1st (1843) or 1904 ed. OS 6-inch maps but identified as a circular cropmark on an aerial photograph taken in 1973 (GSIAP, R117/8). Not visible at ground level. The landowner knew of no site or tradition of a site in this field.
