Situated on a level landscape. Aerial photographs from c. 1950 (ACAP: V307/1590) and 1973 (GSIAP: N 269) show the cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam c. 35m) within the rectangular field system (ME018-015----). It does not appear on any other imagery.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
