Enclosure in Ballynagally is a rectangular area measuring fourteen by twelve metres, bounded by a levelled bank and situated on a wet SSE-facing slope near Scart. The site hides from historic maps yet emerges clearly in modern satellite imagery, suggesting human hands shaped the land long before surveyors arrived. Ditch-barrows flank the enclosure, while a farm trackway cuts through its southwest corner, disrupting the ancient boundary. The wet pasture and watercourses may have helped preserve these faint traces, keeping the enclosure visible despite centuries of agricultural change.

On a SSE-facing slope, in rough, wet pasture which is cut by land drains and watercourses, 390m NW of a townland boundary with Scart. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Ditch-barrows (LI024-217/-066----) are 6m to SW and 15m to E, respectively. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as a rectangular-shaped area (14m NW-SE; 12m NE-SW) enclosed by the remains of a levelled bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.5m), which is truncated at SW by a farm trackway running NW-SE. There are traces of a fosse to NW and NE, the latter which is shared with a rectangular-shaped platform (6m NW-SE; 5.5m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (Wth 1.7m; H 0.25m). A low profile linear bank running NE-SW to the immediate NW is parallel to a prominent counterscarp (Wth 7.4m; H 1.25) running NE-SW to its NW. There appear to be other artificial undulations SW of the farm trackway. Both enclosures are visible on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
