Shown on oval enclosure with trees on 1839 'OS 6-inch' map (max. dims. 40m N-S, 30m E-W). Now incorporated into landscaped wood. Possibly ornamental in origin.
A local fairy fort (ringfort/rath); wider significance not recorded.
