What is recorded here

In pasture, on a NW-facing slope; Scrub on hillside to immediate SE. Conjoined to enclosure (TS061-007002-) to W via shared fosse. Circular area (dims. 21m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by well preserved flat-topped earthen bank (overall Wth 3.95m; Wth at top 1.75m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.1m). Entrance (Wth 4m) at NNW which is eroded but appears to be causewayed. Fosse (overall Wth 4.7m; basal Wth 1.75m; D 1.7m) is shared SW-NW and is absent NW-NNW. Fosse (overall Wth 6.05m; basal Wth 1.75m; D 1.7m) NNW-SW. Interior slopes down to NW. Enclosure (TS061-007001-) is c. 30m to WSW. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
