What is recorded here
Two Rock Mountain still holds the enclosure on its warm south slope, where a hut or inner chamber once stood inside the ringfort. The stone circle may have marked a home, a shrine, or a boundary between people and the wild mountain. Whatever it was, it belonged to someone brave enough to live where the rock touches sky.
Situated on the lower S-facing slopes of Two Rock Mountain. The 1843 OS 6-inch map shows an internal enclosure or hut site centrally located within the ringfort (DU025-043001-).
