In level pasture. Circular area (dia. 31m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.65m) SW-NW and N-NE, and by scarped edge (H 1.45m; Wth 2.3m) NW-N and NE-SW, with external water-logger fosse (D 0.85m; Wth 5.6m). Fosse opens out into a small pond at NW; pond has a retaining wall on its N side. Intermittent trace of external bank (H 0.2m; Wth 3.3m) NW-SW, on top of which number of mature deciduous trees are growing. Causeway entrance at SE (Wth4.2m). Interior slopes down gently to W and contains numerous shallow depressions. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
