What is recorded here
Enclosure in Ballinphunta (inchiquin By.) is a subrectangular pasture boundary in County Clare, Ireland. It measures about twenty-three metres north-south and nineteen metres east-west, with a low bank still visible on modern aerial imagery. A standing stone lies eighty metres west, suggesting the flat ground once marked more than ordinary farming. The shape may have excluded livestock, excluded people, or enclosed a memory now lost.
On a fairly level area in pasture. A subrectangular enclosure (c. 23m N-S; c. 19m E-W) defined by a low bank visible visible on OSi MapGenie orthophotography (2013-2018). A standing stone (CL017-219----) lies c. 80m to the W.
